EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The visiting Bellarmine University baseball team notched its first Great Lakes Valley Conference victory by riding sophomore left-hander Hunter Spencer to a 6-3 win over Southern Indiana in Saturday's opener before the Screaming Eagles captured a 10-6 victory in the tail end despite the Knights erasing a six-run deficit.

Southern Indiana (14-8, 3-1 GLVC) took three of four in the series from Bellarmine (9-11, 1-3), which struggled offensively Friday but was much more productive on Saturday as the Knights tallied 21 hits over the two games.
